IF490 products are crackle effect topcoat coatings. They must be applied thinned onto nitrocellulose basecoats and/or topcoats after about 4 hours without sanding. The crackle effect appears during the drying stage and is enhanced by a suitable contrast between the colour of the basecoat and the colour of the topcoat.
