At the recent W14 exhibition, Movac Group Ltd, one of the UK’s leading distributors of high performance wood coatings, ran a prize draw giving visitors the chance to win a brand new iPad or genuine Italian wooden watch.
The response was overwhelming and both the exhibition and competition was hugely successful, with over 500 people visiting the Movac stand. Our popular catwalk displays were also a big hit, drawing large crowds every day, many of whom also registered for the prize draw. A big thank you to all those who entered but there can only be two winners.
The first lucky winner to be drawn at random and receive the iPad was Steve Sharp of Jaydee-Brook Ltd. The people at Jaydee-Brook have over 20 years’ experience in providing professional property services including Shopfitting, commercial fit-out and refurbishment through established relationships with blue-chip clients across the UK. Jaydee-Brook has a wealth of experience in both High Street and out-of-town developments with roll-out capabilities across the UK.
Mike Harris, Managing Director at Mumford & Wood Ltd, was the second winner and received the stunning handcrafted wooden watch. Founded in 1954, Mumford and Wood have built a proven reputation for delivering consistently high quality and innovative timber window and door systems. Mumford and Wood is now the leading and most recognised brand for the provision of high quality timber Fenestration products.
The quality of contacts made at W14 was confirmation of the success not only of our stand and competition but of the exhibition as a whole. It was fantastic to see so many people in the wood manufacturing industry turn out and support W14 and make it bigger and better than ever before. All of our Sales Executives have been busying following up hundreds of leads from around the country, and we have already seen our first few orders come in, directly attributed to our presence at W14. This has far exceeded our expectations and is proof indeed of the calibre of visitors attending the show.
We are sure that W16 will prove to be an unmissable event in the industry calendar.
