PRESS RELEASE - Kicking the balls for Prostate Cancer! (28 April 2014)

A host of television stars will be appearing at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, Colchester on bank holiday Monday 5th May 2014, to support a Charity Celebrity Football competition in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

This celebrity head to head event has been organised by footballer Darren Thorne in support of his friend Mick Lang the chairman of the Urology Cancer Support Group which is based at Colchester Hospital, and who is currently undergoing treatment for prostate cancer. All proceeds are to be shared between the Support Group and Prostate Cancer UK.

The event will see Dan Osborne of TOWIE fame go head to head with The Apprentice's Neil Clough in the match clash of Real-Ale Madrid versus Beercalona. Other celebrities supporting the event are (aptly named) Stella English, also a former Apprentice winner and Terry Lee of Channel 4's First Dates. No doubt these stars and the other team players will be Lager than life on the day!

Movac Group Limited are delighted to be sponsoring this event, not only for such a worthy cause and to help raise awareness about this illness, but also to support Mick who is the father of Movac's Finance Director, Robert Lang. The Movac corporate logo will be proudly worn on the shirts of team Real-Ale Madrid who like Movac, will hopefully be finishing winners on the day!

Kick off is at 2pm, the entry fee is £5 for Adults & £1 for Children.

Advance booking is recommended either by calling Shaun on 07415 695430 or Darren on 07894 436042, but some tickets will also be available on the day.
