Movac were blown away by the skills of the entrants of Suffolk New College’s first ever Custom Paint Competition.
The automotive competition was held on Friday 25 May 2018 in the college’s own industry standard body repair and paint finishing workshop.
Students from varying levels demonstrated a large range of professional techniques using industry standard tools and equipment.
David Hillyer, Automotive Division Director of Movac said: “I was so impressed by the quality and effort that was put into painting these car panels. It is encouraging to see these specialised skills being developed by students within their courses.
“We were also happy to offer sponsorship and support to the college; being part of the local community ourselves.”
The winners were:
1st Place - Nicole Paternoster (with The Lion King design)
2nd Place - Ryan McInerney (with Scooby Doo design)
3rd Place - Renee Kuster (with Marvel design)
The event was judged and sponsored by both Movac and John Grose Ford.
