Movac Movember

Commercial and Operations Director Trevor Huxley took part in this year’s Movember, in recognition of his close friend passing away.

Neil sadly died from cancer on Father’s Day this year and it was decided whilst in the local pub with a group of friends, including Neil’s son, to do something in his honour.  Together they chose to fund raise for the charity Cancer Research through a just giving page.

Trevor said: “Neil lost his life to the illness in a short space of time and my neighbour also lost her life to the illness a few weeks later, which spurs one on to do something (even though it was not that energetic).  Growing a beard for a month with no trimming became really irritating but well worth the discomfort for the cause.

“I would like to thank everyone who has kindly made a donation.”

Trevor has raised £455.00 to date, breaking his initial target of £350.  Together the four friends have raised over £2,600.

It’s still not too late to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Trevor-Huxley
