Movac Group Limited held a cake and coffee morning today, Thursday 27 September, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at their Ipswich Branch at Portman Road in Ipswich and raised over £200.

18 cakes were hand baked by staff at Movac from across their seven branches and prizes awarded for the top three cakes, including the Star Baker.  The branch welcomed in members of the public and customers for the occasion.

Mark Smith Managing Director said: “A special thanks to all those who took the time to bake a cake and make donations.   Without the support of all the Movac bakers, we would not have reached our grand total.  We are so proud to have hit our target of £200 for this worthy charity.”

Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning has become a British institution over the years bringing millions of people together for coffee and cake each September - with thousands of events happening up and down the country.
