Movac Makeover Adds Splash of Colour to Ipswich

The shop window front at Movac Head Office at Portman Road, Ipswich, has been given a makeover for the New Year.

The window now boasts an array of brightly coloured items, coated in Movac paints, including a wooden fence, glass vases, crockery, metal and terracotta flower pots and more.  The theme of the window is a home setting which blends into the front of a house and then into a garden scene.

Movac are one of the largest independent UK based coatings suppliers with three divisions serving the Automotive, Wood and Industrial markets.

They offer a range of standardised colours already formulated including British Standard, RAL, Woodcolor, NCS and Pantone to name a few.  They also have Spectrophotometers at every Movac branch to enable them to identify and match colours quickly, accurately and consistently.

The concept for the window design was created by Natalie Doughty Marketing Manager who said: “We wanted to make a statement.  A bold and very bright colourful statement.

“I wanted to create something that showcased the different surfaces that our paint can be applied to in a fun and attractive way.”

Mark Smith Managing Director said: “We have started this year off with a bang by drawing on the concept of our stand at the trade show W16 in Birmingham last October and brought this to Ipswich.

“A key feature of the window is a hand built fence which shows the standard 11 Movac wood stains available to purchase, although many others are available.”
