Paint Mixing Department Supervisor - Romford (RM3 0JH)

Movac Group Ltd are looking for a Paint Mixing Department Supervisor to join our team. To be responsible for the day to day efficient running of the Mixing Shop and to coordinate and enforce operational policies, working instructions and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To mix paint accurately to the specified requirements
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction; monitoring the quality control of all paint mixes
  • Manage control of costs i.e. waste ,re-sale of returned mixes
  • Be responsible for Library of draw downs
  • Report on workloads to the Branch Manager on a daily basis
  • Be responsible for the standards of Health and Safety within the mixing shop, ensuring safe working practices are maintained and all employees are conversant with this information
  • Be responsible for the induction of and to provide a positive training environment for new mixing shop employees.
  • To keep general administration and record keeping within the Mixing Shop Department accurate and current.
  • Update working instructions when required to ensure consistency of working practices across the Group
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties consistent with the above as directed from time to time by the Branch Manager and/or Group Operations Manager
