Suffolk Limited is now in its fifteenth year and is seen as one of the key events in the region’s business calendar.  It provides a yard stick against which the county can assess its economic performance and Suffolk-based businesses can benchmark themselves against their peers.

Mark Smith, Managing Director of Movac said: “We are very proud to be accepting this award and thankful to Grant Thornton for presenting it to us.  We have strong roots in Suffolk and continue to grow our business by constantly evolving with the market.  We strive to offer our customers products that they need to remain competitive in their markets, with a determination to be the best partner we can be.”

Rob Thomson, Director of Grant Thornton said: “It is great to see businesses like Movac continuing to grow and strengthen our local economy here in Suffolk, especially against a background of continued business uncertainty.”

Each year, Grant Thornton and Birketts carry out a detailed analysis of the financial performance of the county’s 100 largest independent companies, providing a valuable indicator of the health of Suffolk’s economy.  The aim is to portray an accurate picture of how the county is faring based on those companies that are true Suffolk businesses and fundamental to the local economy and the future of our county.
