Movac Group is pleased to announce the addition of new branches in the East and West Midlands to its network of Distribution locations.

Previously Hex Holdings sites, Coventry, Nottingham and Spalding areas will now play an important part in the future growth plans of Movac. Movac currently have branches in Southend, Romford, Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge, and Peterborough.

Both Coventry and Nottingham will continue to operate and the existing staff will be integrated into the Movac organisation. Spalding will be closed as it is located near to the existing Movac site at Peterborough. Discussions are underway with staff at Spalding depot.

Movac Group sell both Vehicle Refinishing materials as well as a wide range of Industrial products to the wood finishing, metal coating and general industrial sectors.  It is intended to sell and distribute both ranges of products from Nottingham and Coventry.

Mark Smith, Managing Director of Movac Group said, “We are delighted that we have been able to seize this opportunity to further expand our business area. We firmly believe that with the right approach, the right people and products and support from our suppliers there is real growth potential in the markets we are active in. We are looking forward to welcoming a large number of new customers to Movac and will be working hard to ensure they receive the same high levels of service we currently give to many others.”

“Not only is this expansion good news for Movac and our customers and suppliers, it is excellent news for the staff employed at Coventry and Nottingham whose jobs we are saving in this current climate, when businesses continue to close and unemployment rises.  This investment is further evidence of Movac’s commitment to investment in people under our “Focus for Success” programme, which has been designed to support our staff as well as our commercial needs.”
